What a week this is! I am at the International CES convention in Las Vegas and will have lots of news for you in the next few days, but thought it would be nice to give you an update on what is happening on the Digital Production BuZZ for January 10, 2013.
It is hectic beyond belief at the International CES convention in Vegas, but Steven Chu, CEO of the Emmy-award-winning animation company, Toon Boom, has agreed to join us so we can get an update on all that is new in animation software.
And there is no moss growing under Larry Jordan’s feet! He has just returned from the Storage Visions Convention and has some great interviews for us, including one with Chris Bross, Strategic Technical Alliances expert with DriveSavers Data Recovery. If you’ve ever lost data or a disc, you know how important it is to protect yourself and how hard it is to repair a damaged disc. This is one interview you won’t want to miss. Later in the show, Doug Hansen, PhD with Millenidata (MDisk), gives us some insight about burnable DVD’s that have an almost unlimited shelf life.
Straight from Moscow, comes Dmitriy Vatolin, CEO os YUVsoft, an award-winning company specializing in 2D to 3D images. Dmitriy has over 16 years experience in the fields of compression media and stereoscopic 3D Video.
I’ll join in for a couple of quick minutes toward the end of the show to give you some highlights of the 2013 International CES taking place as I write this in Las Vegas. With over 200,000 attendees and thousands of exhibitors and press from all over the globe, this yearly gathering is one of the most important for anyone interested in tracking consumer markets and the companies that produce for them.
As ever, thanks for listening to the BuZZ!
